Low-Pass Filter Loop Problem

Alright... I got an XL... I have this hot a$$ bassloop with a guitar sound on top (same sample)... Only problem is that when I loop it the low-pass filter kicks in without me tellin it too...

Like the second time it loops it sounds like the filter is at around 85... So all my top end is gone which is where the guitar is... Then when the loop kicks bakc in it sets itself straight and the filter is back at 100...

Anybody else ever experienced this and possibly know what's causin it...

Anyideas at all would be helpful cause it's really pissin me off...

Does this happen everytime you press the pad, or just while a sequence is playing?

If it's happening while the sequence is playing then it could be that the loop in the sequence is too long (ie. sequence is 2 bars but the loops is 4 bars), so when the sequence loops back your loop "doubles" itself and you get a phased sound.

That's the only thing I can think of.

try using mono to trigger the sample, if not adjust the note durations for the correct ammount of bars

Thanks y'all... To Cheech... I thought of that also, cause I did that when I first started makin beats... But I checked that right away and it wasn't the case...

I fixed it though... Basically I wanted the loop a little faster anyways... So I Time stretched it to a few BPM faster... When I did this the problem went away... I still don't know what caused this, but the point is the problem is gone and my beat is FIIIYYYAA...
