Ok gentlemen, I'm in the market for some new keys and don't want to spend an arm and a leg! ($600-$800 cheaper the better)

I'm looking at this Roland Juno-Di.... hmmm! Well to keep it short, I want a lot of modern sounds and a vocoder, so I'm taking suggestions...

You may have answered your own question. I don't think you'll find anything in the price range you're looking at that'll match the features the DI has.

Yeah, maybe your right.... Has anyone reviewed one? How does it stack up against the Triton's, Fantom's, and MoTif's? I don't need the sampler portion on these keyboards but I want something to extend my palatte of hot sounds and a good MIDI controller.

From what I've heard, the DI is pretty much a budget version of the Fantom and it shares an almost identical soundset.

So if you're use to Roland sounds along with a decent vocoder, then you probably won't go wrong with the DI.
