Setup Question

What up fam,
I got a question. I wanna cop mpc 1000 but i dont know what else i will need in order to produce complete beats. I got a whole buncha software but do I need any other piece of hardware in order to get my beats done? Some cats are saying I need a mixer and consoles but i dont know about that. I will do all the sampling and time stretching on my pc.

no and yea, if you do it like me, all you need is headphones from your MPC.

i have a cheap asss mixer, 2 mic, 4 lines, it was about 120$ canadian, and i use it the few times i wanna hear though the speakers. but you can just run some cables to a reciever/amp if you want to instead.

i use a table to sample, and thats what i use the mixer for mainly, but then again, i only use it to amplify the sound, record to my computer, then transfer the sounds to my mpc.

thats my ghetto setup, its dope though, and it works great for me
