how can i transfer to cubase sx1.0 from MPC2000XL

HI YA ALL

I JUST BOUGHT A MPC2K XL FOR A WEEK AGO .BEFORE THIS ,I M JUST USING WITH ONLY A SOFTWARE .

USUALLY ,I BUILT UP MY BEAT IN THE FRUITY SOFTWARE AND TRANSFER TO .WAV FILE AND SEQUENCE IN CUBASE SX .

NOW ,I GOT AMAZING MPC 2K XL AND I BUILT SOME BEAT .BUT I DON'T KNOW WHICH WAY IS BEST TO GO MY PC AND CUBASE SX AS WAV FILE .

I GOT A 10 CHANNEL MIXER AND USB SOUND CARD .

PLEASE HELP ME ...

The best way to get from an MPC to a computer is the 2 zip drive method. You save your MPC data on a zip disk in the internal or external SCSI zip drive on your MPC, saving the samples as wav files. Put that disk in the computer's zip drive ( which again could be internal or external & USB, SCSI or parallel depending on your computer's ports.)

Then you drag the samples & midi files off the zip & into cubase.

If you don't have zips & the computer has a floppy drive you can do the same thing that way.

Alternatively, you could sync the MPC to cubase then record it, either the samples as audio files or just the midi data.

if you got the 8 outs just do a stereo mix from the mixers outs to the soundcard in. not really to sure what your want to get to the computer. just exporting your sequences as midi files.

In your case the best way is to record your whole sequence back to mpc as a wav sample. Then put it to zip and there you go.
8-outs would be better if u had a 8 track digital recorder.

how can i record my sepuence in mpc ?i need to record in mpc or play mpc and reocrd at cuabse ?

Maybe someone else could tell him. I dont own Mpc but i just know this can be made. One way is to put the cables from line out back to line in and then put seq running and hit record same way like you were recording a sample.
