My MPC 2500 won't load folders

I'm new to the MPC and downloaded Zip files which I opened and broke down into folders to insert into my 2500 through a USB. From there I was able to load one folder and lay down a track. After that the 2500 would not load any of the other folders. It seems to freeze at the first item in the folder although it shows up in the registry as being down loaded when I hit the pad there are no sounds. One folder loaded four notes of the folder. I tried to program the other notes in the pads, but that didn't work. What's happening here and how can I solve this problem, quickly.

press the CLEAR option before loading.

Thanks "Crossings" ! I do tracks with large folders and using the clear option has helped, but some of the files are still being left out of the folder, (Insuffient Memory). I'm getting the idea( from reading the forum) that I'm going to have to increase the memory if I want to add tracks pass basic drums. I use horns, strings, etc. How much can I safely add and what's the best way to do it. Keep in mind that I'm new to this so break it down for me what I should be doing.

you need to increase the RAM. everything you need to know can be found right here in this sticky thread. make sure you DON'T buy the official akai ram, it's a complete and utter rip-off:
