Hi everybody hi doctor nick. anyway I just installed the free version of JJ os I have been using the akai os for about 2 years now maybe longer I use it a lot. After I made the switch my mpc didnt blow up or anything it works similar and I can already notice slight improvements and I haven't even dove in fully yet. I was just thinking about which os I would like to purchase. I just dont understand a few things about the jjos and maybe you can answer my questions. I understand that when u buy os1 then to use os2 u have to buy a password. So my first question is can I just dive in and buy osXL without buying os1 and os2? For my second question. Whats the deal with this password thing where do u enter it in how does that work? How does the whole ordering jjos process go down? Thank u for reading and hopefully answering my questions. Peace

mmmyes, but of course

fill in the form on the website, you'll get an email telling you how to make the paypal payment. do that and you'll get another email with the password. It should all take about a day, but if the emails take longer be patient (and check whether they got blocked by a spam filter)

since you were talking about OS1 and OS2 I assumed you had an MPC1000 ... if you look at the site for the 2500 it doesn't even list OS1 and OS2 any more:

most of the info applies, you just need slightly different pages on the site (although why you can't find this out for yourself I don't know)
