my classic 2k is scrambled!

ok, my poor old mpc2000 classic is old. about 11 years now. it's been pulled apart several times. had almost everything that could have been replaced replaced over the years. last thing was a new blue light installed in the screen.

now after all these years it decides to wig out HARD when i switch it on. Buttons don't respond, and the changeable parameters on the screen just randomly and contsantly change by themselves like it's literally gone haywire.

this happen to anyone else ever?

I can't help you, sorry but I'm interested in your display mod What did you use for the blue light? LED or did you use a blue cold cathode light? A pic of the screen would be great.

Hi there, I used the cathode lamp which i bought off ebay upon the recomendation off someone on this board about a year back. there is a pic of it in the custom mpc thread.

on a sidenote: my 2k classic is for sale on ebay.
