cant access harddrive via usb

I bought a harddisc and installed and formatted it. Now i hooked it up to my mac via USB. Somehow my mac wont recognize the harddrive while the flash card is detected.

Somehow the harddrive wont show up. Whats up here.

you got to go to the "load" screen before hooking the usb up & turn the data wheel so that "hard disk" is displayed instead of "memory card" in the load category then when you go to usb mode your computer is gonna access the hard drive instead of the memory card. the computer will read whichever one you have highlighted prior to going into usb mode. So you can you alternate between memory card and hard disk but ya gotta choose which one you want the computer to access before hitting the f4 usb button


I did it with pc not mac but should work the same way

man, they should really put that kind of info in the manual
