using reason 4 with MPC 1000

Hey whats up... I just want to know how I can record tracks from reason 4 into the MPC sequencer.... this is how I have everything set up... Reason 4 (from the computer) to midi controller... midi controller to Midi in on MPC (and vice versa to the midi controller) am I wrong here?

also.. once my connections are correct, how can I record tracks into the MPC sequencer from reason? Thanks a lot!

Maybe you mean you'd like to control or trigger Reason sounds from the mpc seq?

Reason cannot output midi notes.

from my fast track pro i do this:
out 1/2 for the BX5a
out 3/4 or s/pdif to the record in of the mp
in reason(audio) i select m audio asio usb + 3/4 or/and s/pdif
in the mp :analog or numeric
