can someone tell me why,
when im loading file and listen them in the trim field they play two tones down?
It's something very strange, when in the main menu i have selected an audio track, the sample play in the correct pitch but when i change to a drum track for example, all the sample in the trim field are two tones down.
I really can't find out where is the problem, i have the os2xl installed.
Also when i record something in the mpc the result is two tones down. But, agian, if i have an audio track selected in the main field, the pitch is correct when i listen to what i have recorded in the trim field. It seems like the audio track have something to do but i can't find out in wich way!
I hope it's not a bug and someone more expert then me can give me a solution.
Thanks

Are your loaded samples 16 bits 44.1khz?
Are you using analog or digital input to sample?

Are you sure you didn't set a different value for the pitch in the trim mode rather than in program mode?

Check these points before concluding that it is a bug.

OP, no need to make multiple threads on the same issue.

Thanks le rat, but unfortunately is not that, i've checked and the tune is at 0.
Is strange because if in the main screen i have selected an audio track all the samples are playing right, but if i have in the main field a midi or a drum track, when i go to the trim field all the samples and the recorded files are two tones down.
Any other suggestions?

Try Re-installing the JJOS, or Try a different OS2XL version (downgrade) and see what it does.

I tried to reinstall, with the 4.99 version it works fine, but with OS2XL also downgraded, it still makes these kind of problem.

Yes also with 1,39.
Is six months now, that i have the 0Sxl and it never happened.
Yesterday i was recording a guitar and i noticed that it was two tones down, at the beginning i tought it was only for the recorded audio, but then i tried to load some samples and same thing two tones down. The only time they play correctly is when i select an audio track then all the samples play well. I think it's a bug but I checked in the forum and it's seem nobody have these same problem.

So happy, JJ resolve my problem, it wasn't a bug. The midi cables were the problem. I disconnect them and the machine restart to work well. Uff i realy thought mi machine was **** up.
Thanks JJ!!

Out of curiosity, what is your setup and what device was badly connected to MIDI?

Hello to every body, finally it is a bug, that's what jj wrote me:

It was a bug whose PITCH BEND is effective in TRIM mode.
Moreover, os2 has the same bug.
Moreover, JJ OS of MPC2500 also has the same bug.
It is corrected by the following version.
Please tell other users this by a forum from you.

Hope it can be useful!

Le rat, my set up is mpc, tetra synth and midi keyboard controller. The keyboard was sending pitch bend messages to the trim field and for these reason the sample played two tones down.

The bug fix ver 1.41 is up now. :)

Hows that Tetra? I've been meaning to buy one since it first came out.
