MPC2000 to MPK49 to Computer??

alright im having issues. i want to sync my MPC to my computer. I have my Midi in and Midi out all hooked up to my MPK, and my MPK is USB to my PC. Is it possible to get my MPC to sync up with my cpu software? If not then what do i need to get in order for that to happen? an interface? pleasehelp!

On the MPK49, you cant use MIDI and USB at the same time. To use MIDI you have to use external power.

So what do you suggest i get?
