I've got a 2500 and was tring to figure out how to transfer my beats from 2500 to Adobe Audition 1.5. I want to track my beats into Adobe Audition and then go on to burn them to cd. Does anyone know about a sound card or interface that would work? I understand how the 2500 works but I don't know much about tracking to software or about interfaces.

Didnt make new thread, cos this is almost same problem i have.
I need to track my beats from my mpc 2500 to adobe audition 1.5. I have Behringer Xenyx 2222FX where everything is hooked up and M-Audio Fast Track Pro whitch go to my pc.

i've tried everything i can, but still nothing.

If someone could tell me step by step how to do this, it would save my day.

Sorry about my bad english.

read the manuals, particularly the soundcard. make sure you've got the right drivers going and all that fun stuff. make sure your audio interface shows up in audition. etc.

There are a number of programs or can be used to cut the samples. I made a transition from hardware to software and have been using Sound Forge, and my chops to clean insanity. I suggest you to use either Sound Forge or Cool Edit. In addition, I use a method similar to Syderbomb.
