Painting Your MPC Yourself?

ima redo it though. im thinking a totally different color. maybe all black. or red. ima do it with car paint though.

Dope, yeah my cousin manages a body shop. He said if I brought my case in he would strip it and spray it for free. I just been lazy, but seeing these is inspiration. I was going to go with all black or red too (leaning more towards dark red) Damm D-Struct, get outta my head man!

damn phatz! all black. paint, buttons and pads. that would be so nutz nikka. haha do it now!

Heres a link to mine, I've repainted it since these pics cuz I messed up on the logo, I was gonna go all black but I felt like the finger prints would work my nerves too much so I just did the same pearl white.

I've been thinking about doing mine for a long time but haven't really had the time or the money.. I'm definitely going to do it before the end of the year tho!



I've got the chrome version so I already got the black pads and buttons, and I've been thinking about going all black. The other option is white, kind of like coocoo's, but a creamy white instead of a pearl white.. Haven't made my mind up yet!




I was originally thinking of going orange but I dunno.. It might look good with the black pads, but then again it might be a little too perky!

We'll see!

My joint is almost all black i'm just waitin on Guitar Center(as usual)to hit me back with the cost for the pads and when they'll order.It's gonna be bananas.I'll post pics as soon as everything is done.

You can order the pads direct from the service center, it'll probably be cheaper not to mention faster, I paid 41.00 dolars for the black pads, took about 3 days to get 'em. The number to the Akai service department is on the Akai web site.

Yeah, the pearl doesn't really come through in those pics, it's actually not as cream as it looks in those pics, it's more of a Cadillac Diamond Pearl.
