Price for a maxed out 60?

I have an MPC 60 MK1 with max memory (legit upgrade), os 3.10e, and scsi upgrade. It's got some wear and tear, but all the pads work, and the screen is in good shape as well. what would be a reasonable price to ask for it?

I really don't know. I do know that if you were to buy all the upgrades it would be about $500, but seeing how you wouldn't just add that on the price. $850 would be a maxed one in really good condition

There is one on ebay now that is $800 with one bid on it. It looks to have a new backlight and other upgrades. I didn't check the seller name, so it might be yours. lol

nah it's not mine, I wouldn't ask past $700 or so. A lot are in immaculate condition but with stock software, so to me 800 or more is entirely too much.

If you're worried it'll sell too low, just start it off around $200 to get some interest in it, but throw a reserve of $700 or so on it...clean it up and take large, detailed pics- definitely helps buyers make up their mind.

I would say if it's in good condition 800$ to 900$ would be a good final price, the Akai MPC60 in my opinion is a vintage piece of equipment so don't compare it in price with other machine which do more and have more options, the fact that it's 20 years old and still working and ready to jam' is worth it's weight, let's see in 2030' how many of the new machines MPC2000, MPC2500, MPC1000 & MPC500 still power up and sustain a true legacy in music! Just my view, peace!
