This is nuts. Out of now where I insert a memory card into my MPC 2500 and it shuts the whole thing down. No display, nothing!!! Just a blank screen. Has this happened to any one out there? I'm not sure if just replacing the "Front Memory Card and Head Phone PCB" would do the trick or not. I'd appreciate any help on this. PEACE

Right on brotha. yea one of the pins is bent down. How would you fix it? just try to bend it back in shape? It seems like you might damage other pins trying it like that.

It depends on how bent the pin is. You can try to straighten it with a long sewing needle or dental pick. You may have to take the card reader out of the MPC so you can have better access to it. However after you straighten it out, you will have to be careful when inserting and taking out cards that the pin doesn't get damaged again.

Also look at your CF cards to make sure they aren't damaged -- if one of the holes is screwed up, it may always bend the pin when you put the card in.

Good luck!
