Possible to assign Q links to whole programs?

Is it possible to assign a filter to a Qlink and then have it control the cut off of a whole program instead of one pad at a time?

On my MPC4000 you assign Q-Links to PARTS (programs) easily in the setup screen.

The 4000 is the only machine I would trade my 1000 for. Topic subscribed.

Yeah but can you do it on the 2500? I think if I am in song mode I can do it but I am wondering if you can do it if you make a song using just one sequence and want to assign the knob to one part.

Im using the free JJOS on a 2500. in the SLIDER window under 'assign pad' you can just scroll all the way past all the individual pads/banks to 'all pad'

so what do u peeps typically use ur q-link sliders to do?

cos ive neva really used them exstensively
