Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hey I want to know if I have a zip drive hooked up to my MPC2000XL and save sounds to it, can I unhook it and connect to my MPC3000? both machines have floppy drives the MPC2000XL can recognize and load the MPC3000 sounds but the MPC3000 can't read the snd. sounds from the MPC2000xl, so I was looking to buy the scsi cable for the XL because the 3000 has a different scsi connection, so will I be able to load/ save from both machines using the same zip disk? Thanks

Yes but of course, you'll have to use different zip disks for each sampler since the MPC3000 and the MPC2000XL have different disk formats. And you'll need a different SCSI cable for the MPC3000 - a DB25 to DB25 cable, which we carry on our SCSI Cables page. We also sell new 250MB Zip disks at a very good price.
