Mpc Dubstep

What up, is anyone out there making dubstep with ther 1000 ?
I've had hard time trying to get my bass to wobbel, cant quite figure out how to get the LFO to sound right. I just running the basic JJOS, do i need to upgrade? Can someone shed some light for Jah.

never had much success with stuff like that in the 1000, though that doesn't mean it can't be done! (i'm not being much help here am I )

I think you may have more success in something like an S5000 or soft synth of somekind.

should be much easier with the new osxl 1.42, you now have q-link control over the lfo.

i do some dubstep\garage on the 1000.
tho im not much into the wobble stuff. anyway it really has to do a lot on how you build the bass program. i'd use layering, so you can have a sine bass below it all, and a square or saw wave that covers the midrange, use a LPF on it and lfo time synced. then mess with LFO speed. as said, the new jjosxl 1.42 should help a lot with his q-link->lfo speed feature.
i'd use a TRI wave on the lfo. then you have to be familiar with the time division on the mpc. (0.xx). keep in mind the time base is 96. it means:
1/4 note: 1.00 (96)
1/8 note: 0.48
1/16 note: 0.24
1/8t note: 0.36
etc...

anyway i prefer doin those kind of sounds on external synths (at the moment a waldorf blofeld).

humm, sorry but im not much after tutorials so i really dont know, but im sure there's plenty both on utube and on forums like futureproducers and similars...
