If your going wav route.. make your song on a sequence. Like 28 bars long. That will give 4 bar Intro that leads to the chorus/8 bar melody that ends at the stat of the 16 bar verse. Form there. Make a new sequence for each track that's 24 bars long. So, kick, snare, clap, hat,fx,fill, pad, melody, excetera excetera.. are one one track and one sequence each. Convert the sequence's to individual wavs. Name them!!. Drop each wav into individual audio tracks in protools. They will have the same timing and loop perfectly. From there you can copy and paste out the tracks and create a song. Do drop outs, and mutes, and automation. Then eq each track ,do panning, reverb, phasing, compressing, and coloring. Super easy to do and your sound quality will rape the people who just solo. Whole song and try eqing that.
So. Seq 1 name song. Copy track 1 from seq 1 to track one on seq 2. Name that kick... then track 2 on seq 1 to track 1 on seq 2. Name that seq clap. And so on until all tracks have there own named sequence. Get it? Put the song sequence on a protools track also for reference of track placement. Just remove of before bounce. And to keep as a master file.
Good luck yo.. ONE......
