Hi, i have a problem when i sample from my technics to my MPC 3000, when i sample a rich sound with lot of instruments, i don't hear it, but for example when i want to sample drums, isolated sounds or when i'm listening to the empty parts between tracks one a vinyl, i hear a loud snoring sound and another one higher.
For this reason i can't sample drums because there will be a noise after it.
I use a Technics 1200 SL with a new Arkiv needle, plugged with a monster cable to a Vestax PM5 pro 2.
Do you know where this noise comes from?
Thanks

I'm having this problem also. Technics 1200 mkII, Radial J33 preamp. Buzzing in anything I sample from the turntable. I've also tested sampling through my Rane 56 mixer with a Technics 1210 mkV.. same thing. Sampling from my iPod I was unable to reproduce the issue (but cmon now, I dont want to take samples from my iPod with all this vinyl on the shelf behind me!).

Anyways no solution as yet.. but thought I'd chime in. Seems to be a grounding issue at this stage.. and having just had the power supply in my MPC 3000 replaced it would appear that this may be where the blame lies.
