DID AKAI PROFESSIONAL GO UNDER?

Yo,I don't know if this is just my ISP...or If Akai went under?...I tried to go to the site www.akaipro.com and it doesn't load just some screen that states that the website is gone....This would be crazy if there is no more AKAI PRO..?...Thoughts?

Maybe it got hacked to oblivion? I tried to google old files and that doesn't exist anymore either. Its like it died a quick death without warning.

WTF now you see it, now you don't. seems like its an abnormal outage, as if host server connection failed, not that i know anything bout networks. Wheres' the redundant backup> seems unlikely they would just pull the plug, maybe we should PM akaiteam?

how long have the sites been down? did it just start today?

I know it was working last Sunday when I was browsing for any new announcements for a new MPC, but mostly it was about the new app for iPhone and the SynthStation.

I checked Twitter too but Akai hasn't tweeted in 15 days.

the numark site is up but the akai and alesis sites are still M.I.A.

looks like now we will be stuck with half assed companies like the beat kangz

I just tried to go to akai again and it said the site is under construction and will be back shortly.
