Post a video of your studio

I was testing out a new video camera for my holidays and thought I'd show off the toys. Feel free to post your videos up.

As you can see with the addition of the Moog I had to move the whole room around. Part of my set-up now lives on the floor and on a dining room chair :/

damn some nice equipment there, I'll take that 2500se off your hands since it's just laying on the floor...I was expecting better monitors with all that gear, I was hoping you'd be rocking jbl, yam, event or something...did you read all those books ?

I'm in an apartment at the moment so the sound has to be limited anyway. Once I move my stuff into the unit I'll get a good pair of monitors.

I've read 40% of the books cover to cover, but a lot of them are reference material for when I'm coding/writing copy/marketing etc etc.

i should make a studio video, you people can be wowed by my peavey mixer, alesis WEDGE and kenwood tape deck

but you'll really feel that gear lust when you see my tapco 2200 eq

You have some great stuff in there, and I think you could go way beyond your regular typical dubstep and get some serious experimental sounds blasting out of all that gear... then once that is done and you throw in the drums from the SP...

I totally agree about the mixer. At the moment I have very limited space so I can't hook everything up. But the Access Virus has 3 outputs of its own, the MPC having 8, the SP1200 with it's own batch of outputs plus the other equipment. A mixer is on the list of things to get next but I can't do it until I move to the unit.

You're right about the experimental sounds. Once my gear is hooked up I'll be sampling the synths and running them through the MPC and then back into logic via the outs. Even by sampling variations of LFO's, filter's and waveforms of the same sound, and bashing the pads with all the samples you can create some immense dubstep basslines. Layer other samples ontop of them and you've got some twisted ****.

I should have the unit at the start of January so I can get things moving properly from then.

With little amount of equipment i got, just a picture will do.

Nice lab. Here is a vid of mine. Keep in mind its about 2 and a half yrs old. Still pretty much the same though.

Wow, pretty much every synth i've wanted in the past year.

Finally decided on a Virus for christmas, would like to know what you think of it, particularly in comparison to your other stuff.
