How can I tell if my mpc 2000 classic has 32mb ram or not?

I wanna know if I should get a upgrade, how do I tell if I need it? Thanks

Try to load a sound and it says 'free memory'.

From the manual, page 147:
*Free memory snd:
The free sound memory space on the MPC2000.

I would recommend stepping away from the forums and hitting every single button you can on the machine. You won't break it, don't worry, and you'll learn a lot more. Then check the manual to clear up any questions you have developed after that.

You won't know that you 'need' until you've actually used it.
