Big Beat is some of the illext sounding heavy drums on earth... There's a reason that they have been used to death... Big Beat is my favorite break honestly cause I wish I could get my drums to sound that crazy sometimes... I wish I had the ability to completely flip my drums like that... I mean those are some crazy heavy drums...

Yea except that I can't play live drums very well... Nor could I get that sound... I'm just sayin that they are some ill drums... I mean it's like questioning Why the sample for Dilated Peoples "Worst Comes to Worst" has been used by many others????

It's a hot a$$ sample that's why... It's pretty simple to understand... You might say well people should be more original or whatever, but an ill sound is an ill sound regardless of whether it's been used before or not... Especially when it comes to drums...

Sh*t why has Skull Snaps "It's a New Day" been used athousand times... Why has James Brown been used a thousand times for his drums... Cause they're ill that's why...

Not a bad way to make some cash... It'd prolly be easier to market that to liek big tiem studio producer's... Like producer's for marketing agencies and sh*t... One's that do commercials and who are heavy into Sample CD's... I mean they'd work for hip-hop production, but it depends on how you do it...

If you market them right you could make some serious dough with that though... I was readin an article in Electronic Musician a little while ago about marketing and recording Sample CD's... For real there's a killing to be made in that market...

Why? Because Big Beat is one of the most OG hiphop breaks that there is. People were rocking the Big Beat break back and forth on two turntables to rap over way before samplers were in the picture.

Go back and listen to Run DMC Here We Go, they use Big Beat WITHOUT a sampler. It's been used on hundreds of things from Roxanne Roxanne to 99 Problems.

Asking why is like asking why Asians keep eating rice all the time.
It's a part of the culture.

Hell, I've got 2 copies of the Big Beat 12", plus I have the full LP it's on.
I've used it. I'll use it again. I'll use it and you won't even be able to tell I used it.
