MPC 2000 QUESTION!!!

Alright, Im pretty new to this mpc shit so sorry if this is sumthing simple. ive seen this vid of Boon Doc and he's jammin out on a MPC 1000. Thiers this breakdown on the song where he switches the sounds on the pads while the drum loop is playing. can you do this type of live switching sequence while playing a drum loop on an MPC 2000 or MPC 2000 XL. i neeed to know cause im boutabuy my first MPC and tryna figure which one will work best for me. if anyone can telll me this would really save me a lot of money please and thanks

Yes you can do that on any MPC.
But don't base your choice on one feature that you might use once and move on. Do a bit more research on the different models. You can download all the manuals from akaipro.com and read for yourself how each mpc handles sounds and sequences.
Having said that, I think the mpc2000 or the XL are fine machines to start on
You may well never need another MPC.
