JJOS2xl Arpeggiator and external keyboard problem.

Hey guys, I am new here but have been reading the boards now for awhile. I have an issue, I just got os2xl, and when I use the arp with my keyboard the keyboard plays the sounds but not with the arp. Can the arp only be triggered with mpc pads? Thanks in advance.

i'm just getting to grips with 2XL (specifically because I wanted an arpeggiator)!

it works fine with external synths etc - i'm using a controller keyboard to play the notes into the MPC, which then arpeggiates my synth modules. it sounds like your midi setup isn't quite right - perhaps you've left "Local ON" on your synth? is the midi OUT from the MPC connected to the IN on the synth?

I did find a workaround last night which was to turn the multi timbre function on the mpc to off, i dont know if this is going to stunt my workflow or not but we'll see. And yes i have the local function correctly adjusted on my keyboard
