Data wheel mod or replacement

Has anyone either done a mod or a better replacement for the data wheel?My wobbly wheel is making me nuts.The only mod found in the search has expired photos.Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks

Mpc stuff has a pc board that has an upgraded encoder

If we could find someone who has bought one of those and ask them what the part is it could perhaps be a drop in replacement. Hard to know for sure without looking at it directly tho...

Ended up sending mine to Numark for repair as I couldn't source parts. Fixed no problem and surprisingly good service.

Nah, not bothered to check. Just glad to have it working properly again and wish I'd sorted it sooner.
