Just getttin started, what should i get?

i been making beats with computer software for a minute now, now i wanna buy some equipment, i got $1500 saved, what should i get? Im getting a mpc 1000. what kind of keyboard should i get wit it and what software should i get to sync to computer? thanks in advance

This is to much of an open ended question, first what software do you have? second its opinion, some will say logic, others reason and even more will go with ableton or reaper.

Second the keyboard market is wide open, do want a synth a workstation, You can't just go spending money on blindly...go to a store WITHOUT YOUR MONEY and just play on the keys for a while see which you like go home research the reviews, sleep on it then go buy it, nothing worse than dropping cash on something then selling for less because you got something you don't need or want.

I can only really tell you what im using, i got an mpc 1000, with a Korg Micro X(which is like a a mini triton) and i sync it with Sonar X1. Im very happy with the setup at the moment. I think the micro x is a real nice keyboard, its not a VA synth like the Micro Korg but offers a nice set of rich and useful sounds. Ive had the micro korg before and think thats the best VA synth on the market(for that price). Howver if i had some money to spend, id seriously think about the moog lil phatty, cause they are going quite cheap these days. Software wise its all about preferance really but i do suggest you try and get hold of Sonar x1 cause i think is superb on the pc.

Amongst many other pieces of kit I use a Casio FZ-1 with my mpc and Cubase or Reaper as a tape recorder. If I were you I'd get an Emu Emax I keyboard. As well as being your master keyboard you can bang sounds through it to be sampled back into your mpc.

It's all a personal choice. I think you should figure it out for yourself what equipment you want.

want use the same vst as everyone else.I have a Yamaha A5000 and a moog analog synth.I find myself
using my A5000 the most as I can start with a basic wave and shape and form a really unique and not
