Whats happening MPC fam. Im running JJOS2xl (2.12) and have noticed that my audio interface is clipping now at its inputs. It seems that the new jjos mixer is adding a gain stage of some sorts. I had the trims on my interface set up to to match the levels of the mpc before. I tried bypassing the track mixer but it didnt seem to help. ONly thing i was able to do was to globally turn the track mixer down to a level of 60-65. My concern with this would be possible sound degradation or improper levels (ex: noise/floor ratio). Any remedies u guys have would be helpful.

edit: I only use the aux outs for my analog sends. Stereo signal goes to the digital output. The problem is with the analog outs 1-4 (st out is not used)

When was the last time your output levels were correctly matched? What has changed since then?

uh oh.....I read your comment and went back to check some things. A behringer mixer i used to hook up hardware to the audio interface was taken out of the equation a few weeks back. I use a patchbay now. I havent used the aux outs on the mpc or any of my hardware pieces in a while bcuz ive been doing most work in ableton trying to learn it. I Just hooked the mixer up to test it and now realize the reason i had to turn up the trims on my interface was bcuz the sub output on the mixer was giving me a sh!tty signal. I cant monitor the level on the mixer but if i turn it all the way up its still pretty quiet (i think there might be a shortage or something as i get crackles in the sound when i move the fader). I guess that was the problem all along. I guess i will go back and match my levels once again. Thanks for the commenting.

Glad to help.

Also, make sure your master level (mode -> pad 10) is set to 0db.
