Forgive me, Sabotage, for trying to clarify what you said, but:

Did you create those partitions in the MPC?

Are you trying to say that, OS 1.2 CANNOT make partitions but CAN read partitions?

Just trying to keep this straight...it's easy to get conflicting information.

the 1.20 OS cannot create partitions, but it surely can read and write to them. My card was partioned using third party software on a PC. I do not know if it will read and write to partitions made on a earlier version of the OS, which might be what Keyman was referring to.

Sabotage, please let us know how you did it.. Which third party software, which cf card, which settings.. Thanks

i'm pretty sure OS 1.14 is the latest for 2000XL's with Floppy or SCSI drives

OS 1.20 is the latest for 2000XL's with MCD (Memory Card Dives)
