First, welcome.

Second, these type of questions get asked almost every other day around here.

Third, learn to use the "search" feature on the site or open your instruction/user manual for all your gear, because it's most likely that all the answers you're looking for are in there.

If you hang around long enough, you'll see the same questions get asked over & over again.

You can also go here Tweakheadz Essential Concepts to get a grasp of the whole engineering/technical aspect of what's going down.

What have you tried and where have you looked for information.

Why have you bought those pieces without knowing how they work.

How many threads have you read here.

No problem. In that case, you can go to: http://www.akaipro.com/content1023#, go to: MPC Series > All, select your model, look under Docs & Downloads, and you'll find the user manual.

Easy!

And if you happen to bypass it, there's a link dedicated to hooking up an MPC studio too.

LOL....Yeah man, actually, I think it was added after the fact. TBH, I don't ever recall seeing a dedicated page specifically catered to the mpc itself.

Tweak must have been hammered to post something about how to link the mpc to other gear. So I guess the pressure made him go about making a page on how to do this.

It's good to know that this exists, so we all can go back to it for a refresher just in case.

nice one, dab! I hadn't seen he'd added an mpc studio page ... maybe he saw the huge number of hits he was getting via links from this site every time someone gets pointed to the "midi basics" pages
