Power cord?

I have a mpc 2000xl brought over from the UK. But im from Belgium wich has european(french) plug.
Can i just use any computer cable ? Ive never found any topic online . Could be a stupid question .
But why would they sell Akai power cords anyway?

Assuming that your MPC runs on 240V power (which it should if you bought it in the UK), then you can use a standard kettle cable (or whatever you guys call it over there).
