mpc 2000/xl pad question

i currently own an MPC 2000 with 8 pads out. a buddy of mine had a 2000xl that had 1 pad go out (so we bought a new set n switched it out) well as some of you know, the xl has a seperate pad plate, where the 2000 is one solid piece across the whole top. is there any way i can safely remove the pad sensors off of the 2000xl plate, and readhere them to my 2000 plate? any1 ever try this?

I thought the 2000 and the 2000xl both used the same sensor sheets.

there the same pad sensors.... but what they mount to is different.

so im just trying to see if there is a way to pull the sensors off from (A) and re-adhere them to my 2000 bracket (B)

oh I see what you mean now... yeah I would have thought you just take them off and place them on the one you already have in the classic.

Now dont quote me on this, but I am pretty sure the pad sensors are identical in the 2000/xl as the ones in the MPD 16... which could be had for cheaper then the sensor kit... obviously you keep the original bracket baffle thing... I think the rubber pads are the same also.

I know i can use the pad sensors, my question is, does any1 have any recommendations as to what to glue it down with? seeing as ill be taking it off the 2000xl mount, and re-glueing it to the 2000
