well.. I dont know. Okay I suspect at first you will because the workflow is different (it has 16 pads, but it's a different beast) but later on once you learn the ins and outs... you will be alright.
I use the MV for plenty of stuff... the hardest part at first for me was trying to figure out how the quantize system works because I thought the way the MPC series (and other gear too) works, that was it... so at first I thought the mv was terrible for the quantization but really I wasn't adjusting the various parameters correctly. once you figure out your setting style you are alright though. Not only that, but you can make adjustments on piano roll.
I still like the mpc series though, I love just switching it on and there being not much more then the basic stuff I need... it makes ideas come out differently.
