In all fairness, I don't think it's that bad of a product. I just think that they have always done a shitty job of marketing this thing.
I'd like to give them a benefit of doubt, but they don't give out any substantial product information at all! If you've seen advertisement materials for any other electrical music devices, they talk about specs, functions, examples of how to use the devices. This beat Thang video looks like as they are selling sneakers or something... It gave me an impression that they don't want to talk about the product at all...
By the way, I think the way they are marketing Beat Thang is right way, since there seems to be nothing to talk about the product itself.
Best Buy exclusive? Right, I don't think outlets like Guitar Center, Sam Ash, and Musicians Friend would want to sell this, they have better things to sell...
