NRPN Midi data

Can I expect the MPC4k to recognise, record and output NRPN from a device such as the Alesis Andromeda ? Or will I have to tranalate it using MidiOX or similar - anybody doing this??

Hi.... I don't have an Andromeda (though it's on my near future list). Can you list other
synths that have NRPN data? I'd be happy to check it out for you, but would need
to know which one of my synths use it.

had korg electribes once (nrpn) no problems whatsoever. that was back in the 2k erra, so I asume the 4k can but I can't testify

Yeah it works, took me a while to realise I had some setting wrong on the Alesis... I am not sure how the NRPN editing works on the 4k as it uses several CC channels to record the data - but I can't see myself sitting there editing filter sweeps when I can do 'em all by hand.

MPC4k and Andromeda, that is one fukking hell of a combination IMO. It may even cure me from buying so many synthesizers! )
