We might. The best inversion comes from changing the polarizer, but it can also be done in the firmware by "flipping all the bits". The latter is cheaper...I will see if my programmer can do this and we'll put a jumper on the board for the next PCB re-spin.

yeah... inverted would be the schit!!!!!! 8)

Very, very good news for MPC-2000 series users and those who shelved their MPC-2000 because the screen died on them. I guess I have to say that it is very reasonable price, considering the amount of effort Envision Electronics made.
I hope the screen will be available to buy, as soon as possible! and will be available for long time...

Well, that was easy. One call to my software engineer and... You can now jumper the inversion in and out.

Check it:

You can also see the whole LCD in case there might have been some conspiracy that it was all a hoax.

Now that's SICK!

Also I can notice that you fixed the issue with resolution (everything fits perfectly now in the display)

It's a new display with higher resolution. We actually don't use the rightmost 8 pixels. This is unnoticeable once it's installed in the machine.

Yes, exactly. It's very much a white background. Cameras....psh.

you and me both.. and the part that makes it worse is there is NO supply.. and being that the demand peeks every so often those who can get their hands on the 'gold' cash in while regular folks like you and myself are faced with either paying rape prices or just moving on..

is it possible for your programer to screen center the image so that the six f buttons line up to the screen (4 dead pixel on each side)? it would also center the screen image after install too so that it doesnt look shifted to one side. thanks

You deserve a standing ovation for this... great work.

Quick question... and please don't take this as a complaint, because it's not. But just wondering why you don't just sell the LCDs from your own site, cut out the middle man, and pass on some savings to the MPC community?

With that being said, $159 does sound like a fair price.
