Make a couple a dozen chops, throw in a crash here and there along with a shimmy shimmy on the percussion and blam-o...you're set 8)

just pour your guts over the song, lyrics and all, ala ghostface... :wink: :D



and dont forget to run it through a high pass filter every time the hook hits, to give it that 2011 swag!!!!! 8)

I wish I had the synths and drumcomputers they used on this track or any 80's pop song......

Anybody recoqnizes them?

chop the "shake your love" right in the beginning and line the chop up right on the first kick. that way you can loop just like a break and pitch to your tempo or adjust tempo if you wanna keep that pitch. Also I would run it through a low pass filter, on the mpc I would set to about 60-75.

at 31st second there is a one second one shot of a synth I would grab, it very short before her voice comes back in, so chop small, other than that I would chop super small and see what i come up with because there is not much as far as good sample material to complete a song in the sample alone
