It looks spiffy with the cool shapes and blue lights, but that's all I've got to say.

tried to make an account on the best buy site so I could post a "review" but have not yet received the login...guess they can tell when shenanigans are afoot?

nah... i think they only allow reviews from people that they've paid to talk nicely about this piece of sh!t... what's even funnier is that it appears that they've got some online contest where people are submitting youtube videos talking about why they should win a free "dallas austin" beat thang n sh!t... talk about the lamest wannabe beat-makers-to-be out there. it's pretty damn pathetic to say the least...

Well despite the rumors BKE is still here and doing fine.... Had a GREAT first week at best buy.... And customers seem to be happy.

BT has 16 track that can all be either int or ext tracks switchable

also has 8 banks per track and can mute and solo pads so no need to put drums on separate tracks.......ahhh well you say "I have to so I can separate and export"
yep well in the next month or so we'll have a feature that separates each note on a track and exports it as a perfectly chopped loop... 16 or 24 bit

oh yeah and we read 24 bit samples and 16 bit..... Does the mpc5000 do that?

Also we have adjustable ppq from 24-960
so basicly you have the seq res of every drum machine ever made! including the linn,sp12,mp60, mp2000, 1000, 4000 and 5000

this along with the fact that it has the best feeling pads ever and runs on a rechargable battery and sounds amazing is why everyone at the top of the biz already has one and is making records with it......

Oh and auto chop works awesome now!

Ps..... I like beat wangz.....I'm gonna open a hot wing place and call it that with the piles of money we bout to make.... Ur all invited.... I'll even make a special place for u to park ur gas powered generators out front so u can play ur mpcs with extention chords

That would be awesome, and might make the hardware relevant beyond the initial push.

Well exactly.... There is only so much we can do on our own but it has the horespower and io so sky is the limit as far as the OS.....
