All you experts out there, I would very much appreciate your help with me on this...

I have an MPC 60 with built in zip drive and a mixer/ speakers and what not but i need to know if a USB zip drive is useful for getting sounds on and off of it like drums and completed beats.

You can plug the USB drive into a computer and use it to transfer sounds and make back ups but you cant plug it into your 60.

The fact that the disk wont eject suggests your drive is broke.
Are you on Mac or PC ? If PC does the drive show up in my computer ? You can eject from there by right clicking the drive and selecting "eject" from the menu.

Was the disk formated ?

yeah i just bought the zip drive too but not from the best site probably so thats why its a piece. im returning it asap tho
also im using it on a PC and i checked in my computer when i had it plugged in but there was nothing.

I also have another few questions tho: do you have to convert the finished beat saved on the disk to something else when putting it on your computer? and is it possible to put other drum sounds from my computer onto the disk to use on the MPC?

What's the point in having all this information saved in the forum if you can't be bothered to read it?

Do your homework if your serious about this and RTFM.
