DJ Mixer hisssss

Think i've sorted it

Disconnected everything and separated the cables. Was sitting on the floor as I didn't have a desk but now I've put it on a table.
Then I put it all back together and it seems to be alright now

I'm really confused on whats going on but now it seems to be okay!!!

glad you were able to sort it out... i ended up going out for drinks last night and didn't get to mess around with the mixer after all... any idea what was causing the hiss?

sometimes just simply being too close to a lamp or old school big computer screen will add some noise to the mix as well...

Not a clue what was causing it.
All my cables, ac adapters and extension leads were in a mess behind my amp, now they're tidy and running separate ways.. so the only thing I could think is that something there was interfering with it, I wouldn't have thought so but now it seems to have gone

Just a thought, HP, you might have a lose connection within the mixer itself ?

Sounds like the moving of the unit may have reattched/reconnected something inside .... I would suggest not moving it around too much in future unless you are prepared to open it up and have a proper look ??

Not really up for opening it at the moment now its working as with my luck it will probably end in tears.
At the moment its staying put, and in a month when I move that will be the real test, if I plug it in at my new place and it hisses at me the screwdrivers coming out.
