13" Macbook + Pro Tools 9 crossgrade, shipped to my door = $1549 from sweetwater.

It is hard not to compare the price with Elektron Octatrack, which is actually sold CHEAPER than BT, at sweetwater.com. I've never used or touched Electron product, but as far as casing and design is concerned, all of their products look really good, and inspiring. If I had enough disposable money to buy BT, I would buy Octatrack without hesitation. (With Elektron product, used values seem to be pretty high.)

By the way, I checked the BT's PDF user manual (BT-ONLINE-GUIDE.pdf) and the cut sheet (bt-cutsheet.pdf) read them a little bit. BT-ONLINE-GUIDE.pdf is only 21 pages long, and I didn't find any functions that are possibly "game changing".

The PDFs can be downloaded at:

http://www.beatthang.com/products/beat-thang.html

(They are at the bottom of the page)

Other thing, on the cut sheet (bt-cutsheet.pdf) says sampling rate is 16 bit, 44.1KHz, not 24 bit, 48KHz, which contradicts the statement from the guy with Beat Thang who posted here earlier.

Indeed. I read the online guide almost a month ago, I'm still waiting for the "full downloadable manual" to be published. The available manual seems to be just a "Getting Started Guide".
???

I really can't wait. I might even read the manual - IF it ever gets published - side by side with the MPC2500 manual. Just for fun.
