It's a dead issue for the most part. As you can see, it's easy to search for this topic. So it no longer needs a sticky. There's too many stickys in this forum as it is. If you wanna waste all your time to save a few dollars, go right ahead. But honestly, you're better off coming up with $180 and permanently fixing the problem. Trust me... been there, done that years ago. It's so much better to power up the MPC and get right to making beats instead of having to open the unit and fix it every other week. Save yourself the hassle. Time is money!
