Customizing the my 3k (pics)

So the 3k was cosmetically in bad shape and the buttons needed that double push to be responsive. I went the deoxIT route on the tacts and decided to get creative with the casing. Its just a simple black casing, grey pads, grey buttons, grey side rails and a suede arm rest. The buttons are still drying so this will be a updated as I go along type thread. when the buttons dry, I'm gonna put the words and transport symbols on with decals and clear coat the buttons and the casing afterwards. The armrest is still being worked on as well but I threw in the picture just to give an idea of where I'm going with it. As you can see the top and bottom are done but the sides of the armrest still need to be tucked and glued (referring to the fabric not the arm rest itself)

Now I feel guilty for keeping my 3000 stock.

Here she is now, i still need to finish of the buttons and replace the backlight, but had to reassemble it real quick for a requested project. I was going to label it, but the person I'm sending it to asked me to leave it blank so they can do their own custom labels.

not too bad at all.. I guess they will be taking care of the missing button too?

No I'm gonna handle that, I'm just waiting on the order to get here
