Sequence files from an ASQ10 (or MPC60) compatible with MPC2

Hi all,
Over the past few months I've enjoyed sequencing on an ASQ10. I ADORE the machine but now that I'm planning to start playing live I feel a bit worried about lugging it up and down London (I don't have a car!) in case anything happened to it. A friend of mine suggested I get a (much more easily available) MPC 2000 as it is reasonably priced and would also allow me to pop in a few samples (rather than just driving my synths). But I was just wondering if the "sequencer" part of mpc 2000 would be able to read the .seq files created by the ASQ10.
Being the MPC2000 the successor of the MPC60 (and the fact that the ASQ10 is basically a non-sampling version of the 60) I would think that the two should be, at least for the sequencing section, somewhat compatible; but I'd like to find out for sure.
Has anyone moved sequences from an MPC60 to a 2000 with success?

P.S. I'm not 100% sure if this is the best seciton to post this but as I'm debating whether to get an mpc2000 on how similar it it to an mpc60 I figured the "comparison" forum would be appropriate; if it isn't please feel free to move it

never done it, but you should be able to simply sync them up via midi and record the sequences from one into another.

youd have to do a bit of configuration especially on the receiving end but im thinking it would work.

In fact that's "double awesome" cuz it means I can load the midi sequences AND the samples from my s1100!
