Question about MUTE in PROGRAM MODE

I have SampleA assigned to PAD 1 and SampleB to PAD2, both MUTE each other. I want PAD 1 to mute PAD 2 but not abruptly, I want the SampleB to have a bit of release so it blends a bit with SampleA when I hit PAD 1.


You guys have an idea how to do this?

YES, dude, i totally identify with this wish. if there was a MUTE+release option that would be amazing.

in the meantime, though, the way i've done if for years now is to leave it on POLY, set it to NOTE ON, and then record my performance...then, go into SEQ EDIT and select the DURATION TIL NEXT NOTE option.

this does the trick.

probably not. i'm so used to my workaround that i actually prefer it. this way you can control the duration and do stutter edits etc, though i will likely mention it in my next bug report/FR submission. thanks for the kick in the pants
