Odd ZIP 250 problem

My ZIP drive works fine, as long as I am accessing the first 4 partitions-
it's only when I try for F, G, H, I (and sometimes E) that I get a fail.

It is like this on all my ZIPS so that's why I'm starting to think a powerful universal force is messing with me.

It does not require Powerful Universal Force to mess up Zip drive; usually it dies voluntarily.
Soon or later, you won't be able to access to the first 4 partitions. What happening to your Zip drive is that the reading head is unable to reach to the sector, eventually you'll have "click of death" on your Zip drive.
I recommend NOT to save using the zip drive.
Start Copying important data to different media (even to floppy disks) while you can. Since you are using MPC-3000, making duplicate data would be hard...
