FYI...Akai Sys Works Just Fine Under Windows 7 Pro 64 bit or

I can't remember the exact specs off the top of my head. I do know that the chipset is AMD I have a dual-core processor.
6 gigs of RAM should be ok though???

That combo you're working with might not be the best, or for a better term, good/decent.

Do you know if your processor supports "virtualization" ? If not, look into grabbing at least an upper tier i3 or i5 intel processor (or an i7 for that matter if you can afford one), and a (quality) intel based chipset mobo.

They have been through enough at this point in the game to be proven winners.

anyone got a good link to download aksys 2.61? i have found two that link to akai website however when i click to download it does nothing. Can't seem to find it.

I'm attempting to get this to work in 10.4.11 intel machine. It always crashed, but i need to back up the hard drive and i really don't know how else to get all those folders of samples out of there.

Does anyone have this working on os 10.4.11?

I downloaded the dmg file with no problems. I'm baffed at the fact it doesn't work for you though.

Yeah, without question. 6 g's is enough to do plenty of work. However, it doesn't hurt to cram more into your rig when the opportunity presents itself...yah mean?
