You may or not have tried this approach with your recording phase:
Turntable to DJ Mixer
DJ Mixer to Audio Interface/Sound card
Audio Interface/Sound card to MPC stereo in
The possible benefits of this is a more accurate recording with the aid of PPM or VU meters, better pre amps (depending what interface you have), recording at higher bit and sample rates, etc etc etc
I'm currently monitoring signal simultaneously in Pro Tools 10 (session is 24-bit/96K) and the MPC record window.
