MPC 2000, Mute Assign Question

Hello fellow MPC'ers!


I have a question regarding the MPC 2k "Mute Assign" function:

When i load up, let's say 3 samples on 3 different pads, and then mute assign them to each other - I get some sort of clicking sound between these samples, when i sequence them... But these clicks isn't there when I'm just playing around with the pads... Any idea why this is happening, and does anybody know how to make these clicks go away?


I hope that someone can help me with this problem...

hey that is odd.. it is probably something on the front or end of the sample... so go in the params menu and for each pad.. turn up the attack and decay a little bit and see how it sounds. It makes it sort of glide in and out of the sample.

Play around with the attack and decay settings of the pads. Play around with the trim start and end points of the samples.
